Oliver Pollock PHMC Marker Dedication

The J. Bell Tavern Association would like to invite you to the Oliver Pollock, Financer of the American Revolution, Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) Historical Marker Dedication on October 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. 6395 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg (former location of Gowns by Design). Pollock owned what was then a tavern in the late 18th century to the early 19th century. His home and spring house is actually located behind Best Buy in Silver Spring Township. We are very fortunate to have had such notable historical figures live in Cumberland County.
Please see the attachment for more information on the dedication and on Oliver Pollock. You are welcome to contact me with any questions. RSVP if you plan to attend the event.
